You get to decide on general parameters. You can choose a particular plot emphasis, include certain character groups, request various general technologies/magic artifacts and so forth, as long as those elements have been previously published in a Getabook title. You decide on the length of the work: scene, short story or novella. You decide the price and then Shane will compose the work and ship it to you.

We cannot accept original creative concepts from readers. Action Faction titles can only be based on previously published work by Shane Lochlann Black.

You get to decide what your Action Faction adventure is worth, because this offer is pay what you want!

Choose Your Tier:

• A scene of up to 2000 words for $25 minimum
• A short story of up to 6000 words for $100 minimum
• A novella up to 20000 words for $300 minimum

You can choose an ebook or audiobook edition. If you commission a novella you can also get a custom full color cover and a signed and dedicated hardbound book with shipping included!

What Happens After I Order?

Shane will contact you via email to confirm the parameters for your story. Then work will begin when the next commission slot becomes available. Only five slots will be active at any given time. You will be notified when work begins and when work concludes. Action Faction commissions are final. No refunds will be provided.

Want to join the story? Want to give someone the ultimate gift and make them the hero? If you wish, we can include one named character (first name only) in the story as one of the good guys and have them go on the journey of their dreams as part of your Action Faction adventure!

Start Your Own Collection

If you prefer, your Action Faction story can have an open-ended conclusion. Then you can commission sequels if you like. Serialized stories are limited to novella length works or longer.

Action Faction projects operate on a first paid, first written basis. If you have a schedule limit like a holiday, birthday or special occasion, the earlier you place your order the better. Rights to all works are reserved without exception. Content will not exceed a soft PG rating. No explicit scenes, no gore, nothing prurient, nothing political. Full creative control of the project will remain with the author at all times. The Action Faction is a retail purchase that only includes the ebook, audiobook or hardcover. There is a strict no refunds policy on Action Faction orders.
